Package from Thailand

Hi all,

Need some help picking up a package from Thailand. A friend send me a package
from Thailand via Eurasia Freight Service in San Diego but final destination is
here in Seattle. I call Eurasia Service to pick up my package but they request
that I need to clear with custom service before I can pick up the package with
another company which has the package. Why is it so complicated with such
delivery. Why can't I just pick up the package if my friend already paid for
the delivery and package already. Does anyone know what is the process of
getting package from Thailand or Soutehast Asia deliver here to Seattle? Your
response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You have customers who say your products are a good idea and don't exist?
then customsbrokers will fall all over you... but the shortcut is in the
directory of US Importers, available in most library reference desks... there
under your HTS # you will find the names of customsbrokers who actually
handle those goods... how they got there is another story, but check that out.

Now, folks, remember... we have ways of fiinding the best place in the world
to have something done... this is a list of some 500 people, not quite the
universe of suppliers out there. Get the HTS number, research the NTDB, and
winnow down to the best supplier.
