Shanghai local directory on the web?

Re: Shanghai local directory on the web?

Well,

After doing some research, it doesn't seem that there
is a definitive or complete site. Finding phone
numbers and addresses for restaurants, bar, and hotels
is a cinch. But finding a local business directory is
a different story. In case anyone is wondering,
however, I found a couple sites that help fill in the
gaps a little:

http://www.shanghaiguide.com/phonebook/
http://www.chinabig.com.cn/en/srch/

Thanks!

Sars and War

Re: [spiers] Sars and War

John,

Just read your message and wanted to thank you for it. Am replying from Israel
after weeks of fear of coming here, worry about SARS, Saddam, etc. I then
listened to my son who lives here who said it would be sad to live your life in
fear -- and that did it. Judging from the airport at Tel Aviv, those with
families here are coming in groves! it was full ofAmericans.
