We are looking for a specialist gift manufacturer to make 500 "snowstorms" for
a wedding.

Folks, normally I don't let an "offer to buy' or an "offer to sell" to show up
on this listserv since, as you know, I recommend you carefully find your
sources, the best iin the world.

Further, this inquirer will inevitably walk into a gift store and find a
snowball and call the importer directly (Dept 56, Pacific Rim etc...) and place
a special order.

What I find useful though, is again that specialized business... snowballs for
weddings... probably someone wealthy who wants to put a glass snowball scene at
the table of each of the 500 wedding guests... the snowball featuring the couple
skiing at Aspen or some such thing.

this kind of business reminds me of Crest Company, and NJ outfit that makes
tabletop suites for private jets and yachts... the name of your yacht or jet on
the dinner plates and glassware and cutlery... knowing full well your guest will
steal something with a view to proof they travelled with you... the biz is
terribly profitable... (after speing 38 million on a jet, who will squabble
over $6000 for tableware?)

THE MORAL? Get into your business... specialize upscale, and they will find
you.
