Shipping Terms

Hi John and Group,

We received a PO from WorldMarkets/Cost Plus and I wanted to see if
anyone knew the difference between these shipping terms (and could
describe):

FOB Origin (Collect) – the date goods must be available for pick up
by a CPWM carrier
FOB Delivered (Prepaid) – the date goods are expected to ship by the
vendor for delivery by the "receipt
date" shown on the CPWM P.O.

They also offer terms directly from overseas, is this a good or bad
idea to have shipped directly from our factories?

The date the vendor has to deliver less than container load (LCL)
cargo to the consolidator for FOB port terms of sale
The date the vendor has to deliver full container cargo (CY / CY) to
the port for FOB port terms of sale
The date the vendor has to have the cargo ready at their factory for
pick up for ex-factory terms of sale

Thanks so much!
