Indeed it is... and lawyers tell me unles you have aboiut $1 million cash in
the bank, you are not worth suing. Also, by working upscale stores and low
quantities, the risk is limited iin scope and to the rich and uptrodden, not
less likely to sue, but less likely to win since they don't get sympathy when
going against a struggling biz...

Of course you can simply shop around for prod liability insurance... you can
see if your supplier already has USA prod liability insurance... or of course,
assess your exposure and decide if you care to take the risks.

Anything can happen, and we've all heard the horror stories. Not as bad as
when we had the plague...

product liability

product liability

Hi John,

I have developed a foldable, portable outdoor table. This product includes a
stake for anchoring it into the ground.

I have read your book in regards to product liability. I am a bit cautious as
the american mentality is very warped compared to the rest of the world in
regards to making a quick buck off peoples own stupidity. (No personal
responsibility).

Any feedack or inputs would be useful.

I have over 15 years experience in international business and travel. I have
found the advice in your book and class to be right on the money. I agree with
you that in virtually all cases there is a business solution, no need for
lawyers or the time they waste interrupting a deal.

Thanks
