air shipping

Hello all,
I've been working as a designer/importer for the last 16
months. My merchandise is shipped by air from Asia. Lately
there have been problems w/ the shipper. It appears that
many shipping agencies would consolidate before they ship
to make more profit or to be competitive, not to mention
other problems they have. Is there other ways for me to
ship? I don't have to have 3 days shipping. I can live w/
10 days shipping.
Thanks,
Q

Leather Products

Re: [spiers] Leather Products

Leather pillows, hassocks, "beanbag" type chairs, and the like were the rage
in 2001-2002 interior decor.

To me, the word "leather" presupposes a high price (otherwise, you'd refer to
"vinyl," "faux leather," or the latest craze, "pleather" [plastic leather].)
Suggest you go to the newsstand and look at the high-end interior decorating
magazines (e.g., Architectural Digest) to determine whether leather is still
being used extensively in products other than shoes and boots, briefcases and
luggage, wallets and purses, and overstuffed furniture.

Good luck.

The current issue of Forbes magazine features a fellow being profiled that
has a "leather room"... check it out, you may be on to something... Spielberg
and Geffen are on the cover.

Re: [spiers] Leather Products

I have seen leather pillows at Bed Bath & Beyond,
Linens-n-Things, Pier one and other department stores
with home furnishing departments. I have also seen
leather pot holders and mitts in BBB and LnT.

Leather Products

Hello Mr. Spiers, I was thinking about an idea concerning leather products.
I thought how people like leather wearing or cover products. I wanted to
check to to see if there are any product like leather blankets, pillows
cases, leather sheets. Also, looking around my place I want to see if there
are any other thing that can be covered in leather. I plan to take a trip to
Nordstrom, Marchal Field, JC Penny,Target and a few smaller stores in the
Chicago area. If they do have leather blankets, pillow cases, leather
sheets, then I plan on competing on designing configurations that you can
put on the the leather products themselves. Anyone with information that can
help, please pass it on.

Thank you in advance.
