Re: vending machine business

Re: [spiers] vending machine business

Hi John,
Happy Holidays! I enjoy the mail you still send...In reply to Betty's email,
I have 12 new candy machines that I am going to sell for much less than she is
going to pay. I'm not sure what exactly Betty is getting for her 20,000" I
know something about these machines if she is interested in talking to me.
Please forward her my address...
Thank you,
Lyndy Monaco

RE: [spiers] vending machine business

Hi, I have looked into the vending business in the past and found it very
shady. Please be carefully with your money. If you look in the newspaper you
will see vending businesses for sale all the time.I always wondered why? The
few vending owners I spoke to regretted getting into it.

Please don't take my word for it I merely suggest you speak with actual
owners and proceed carefully.

Please come back to this forum and let us know what you found out.

Sincerely

you'll
have to talk to an expert about that... check with your local SBA (Small

contact me with this problem. I am starting to worry... have I said
somewhere I
think the vending machine biz is good?***

I DON'T KNOW IF THE $20,000 MONEY INVESTED WILL COME BACK. SO FAR I HAVE

$2,000 DEPOSIT WITH THIS COMPANY AND I AM SUPPOSE TO PAY THE REST NEXT
WEEK.

*** Well, $20,000 at say 8% interest for 5 years means you'll have to
generate payments of $405 per month just to pay for the machines, let
alone candy,
maintenance, insurance, labor to restock, utilities, etc. Normally you
have to
pay rent wherever you set up the machine to whoever owns the place where
the
machine goes. I don't think the people in this business have missed any
good
locations to put machines, so you have to figure you will get only very
low-productive areas.

My advice is check with experts in the VEnding machine biz...***
