Accounting Software

RE: [spiers] Re: Accounting Software

My suggestion would be to find a good part-time bookeeper and then have them
help you select a the right package.
I found it very liberating and my business really took off once I was not
mired in the paper anymore and could spend my time managing my business
rather than drowning in paper. It is much less expensive than most people
think and the time freed up is much more valuable.

Thanks John,

I had been investigating both Quickbooks and MYOB ... Can you do
packing slips with MYOB? I know that quickbooks will print out as
many invoices/packing slips you need for an order with the touch of
one button ... does MYOB do this? If I recall, you use fullfillment
houses (or Pick and Pack for the benefit of your wife) so I wasn't
sure if you needed to print packing slips?

Thanks for your feedback and insight.

Re: [spiers] Accounting Software

Intuit makes a product called "QuickBooks" that can handle everything you
described.

Most computer stores that sell hardware will have it (and a lot of other
software). You can also buy it on line.

Try a general search, or go to:

http://www.quicken.com
