i'm trying to buy office products from Korea and ship it to seattle. These
are for my own business but not for resale. Hows customs work and do you
recommand customs broker in this case?
***If it is less than $2500 worth (I believe, check on customs website) it can
be brought in as an informal entry. There is really no reason for customs
broker to get involved, have the supplier ship it directly to your home.***

Do i source organic fabric domestic? where do i take my designs to
create patterns? to assemble the materials and sew them?
First, start with the stores you expect to sell your kind of clothes, and study
the clothes on the shelves now... where are they made? And any other questions
you can get answered... and tyry to buy your ideas.. after that, let us know
what you fiind..and we can learn together from there...

organic clothing
I have been locally involved with the organic lifestyle. So, suit to
say, my interest is toward this direction. I recently attended the
fashion industry trade show MAGIC, and Im thinking of designing
organic lines of clothing. There are few big companies that are
taking a lead into organic clothing, i.e. Nike, eddie bauer,
timberland and many more... but, I noticed most of their design
lines are strictly outdoor or "yoga" wear. I want to make organic
clothing functional in career settings, in short, just more variety,
more selections.

anyone already in garment industry? i attended one of the seminars
by d. birnbaum, he said " all of us are self-taught"..i would like
to hear what think
