Simon Cowell is a billionaire. Someone got hold of a song of his. So he calls the police, meaning he wants the taxpayers to pay for finding it, and as we know it is poor consumers who pay taxes.
Why not say no, it is not a crime. If Cowell wants to protect his property, let him pay for proper protection himself. If it is stolen anyway, let him hire private companies to find out what happened.
Why should I pay money so Cowell can be rich?

why should there be a public police service.
its not like they are serving the public good. they are serving the few who have control of the system.
but i do know if i follow this thought path it leads to a might makes win situation
