Hacking Drones

The USA could not have the military reach and hegemony under which we suffer without nthe aid of computerization to handle the work of what would take literally millions of people to do. We have drones for recon in zones we bring war, which do the work of dozens of soldiers and exponentially more back up personnel. One drone alone must be worth 200 personnel.

The WSJ reports today the people we are attacking have havcked our drones and so the people we hunt are seeing what we see. This eliminates the element of surprise. Also, hacking can be reversed. it is only a matter of time before our intelligence begins analysing photoshopped battlefields with disasterous results for our military.

One problem of all this computerization is if it fails, then we have far too many people dispersed over far too wide a field to support otherwise. Our forces fold like the Ottoman Empire. O well, then we just become the good ol' USA.

If you recall the Russian elite submarine, the Kursk, which launched one of its torpedoes only to have it return and sink the submarine itself. Was the torpedo hacked? One of the theories of TWA Flight 800 was a missile from one of the US Navy ships on maneuvers under the flight was hacked and fired. Can our enemies return to us anything we fire in anger? Who knows, but the US Navy is converting our Trident Nuclear Submarine Fleet to cruise missiles from nuclear warheads.

Maybe we are safer if we cannot attack others.

A nation that has nothing left to export but war must surely be on the brink of collapse.
