Accidental Freedom - Africa
Hong Kong, Andorra, Singapore, Luxembourg, Monte Carlo... the freest places on Earth all seem to be accidental. Africa is a-borneing a New Hong Kong at Cote d'Ivoire. This is an example of the spontaneous order from chaos that free marketers say is natural. Now, if they can just stay independent of the government, peace and prosperity will be theres.
Vaccine Glut
Remember the swine flu epidemic? it didn't really happen, and so people were in no hurry to inject themselves with slapdah vaccine. Now truckloads of the stuff are rotting in New York.
Vaccines are not tough to make, but we have a system where the government controls it to make sure it is kept 'free." If people wee free to make it, then you could pick up exactly what you need at your local pharmacist, who would be brewing the stuff, on an as-needed basis. Never any shortages, always plenty of supply, priced accessible, and the right stuff.
