You'll find Americans mimicking foreign languages and manners when they have no idea of either, and speak jibberish and exaggerate movements, etc. Here is an Italian who does the same thing... mimicking what he hears in USA music and what he sees in dancing ... what Italians feel when they see USA mannerisms...
