Sunday Bible Lesson & Immanuel Kant

While the USA was being formed, from afar Immanuel Kant observed and noted a terrible error - the implicit conflict of interest in allowing lawyers to serve in the legislature and executive branch was not being made explicit and forbidden, or verboten as he might say.  You see, lawyers are officers of the court and thus if they served in any capacity out side of the third check of the check and balances, the government would be askew.

Indeed, we can trace our problems to lawyers serving in the legislature and executive branches of government, where they literally have no business.  of course, even without a rule against it, there is nothing to keep citizens from refusing to vote any lawyer into office.

Jesus has some choice words for lawyers that echo today, KJV Luke 11:

46 And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.

Just so.  See any government rule or regulation.

Feel free to forward this by email to three of your friends.
