With the house and senate firmly in conservative grip through 2016, the country will not let the White House go republican too. It does not matter who runs as president this time as a republican (didn't the last two times either) it will be a democrat president. Jeb Bush, who does not care to be president, will be the republican candidate, and after eight years of Hillary, the country will be begging to get a Bush back in. Jeb's son... It is necessary for the Bush power base worldwide to maintain a lock on presidential power in USA.

this is all controlled? by whom? what is the plan? why can't the voters change who's in office to someone outside these influences?
Someone better be in control. Who? Who knows? Who gets stadiums voted in after voters reject them? Who got the banks bailed out when voters said no? Who has kept us in endless wars when voters want out? If your choice is Clinton v Bush, or McCain v Obama, or puppet v puppet, then how do you change who is in office? Ron Paul was slandered and libeled into the margins and not allowed on enough ballots to have a chance. I watched republican functionaries commit crimes to keep him out in 2008. You tell me why we can't get change in spite of constantly voting for change.

It probably does not make any difference who gets elected president, they are all bad:
"First - I see the USA as run by a tiny elite which is good at "pretend democracy" but which makes darn sure that the people vote the "correct" way. I consider the primaries, conventions, caucuses, and elections themselves as a mix between a farce, a form of entertainment, a re-legitimization of a system and a secular liturgical act (a form of public self-worship). There is no "democracy" in the US and there probably never was. However, if the regime does not change, the specific clans within the 1% do fight each other and struggle for control of the regime."
