"China's presence in Bolivia especially allows for us to free ourselves of any conditions or bribery to some powers that would like to impose their political economics upon us."They say it is political, China says it is not political. My question is when China lends Bolivia $4 billion, where did they get it? Well, we know they have $4 billion and more in USA Treasury bonds, which is mere ex nihilo credit tallies. So is China transferring USA obligations to China to Bolivia, in effect moving the tallies to Bolivia? If and when those tallies get marked to market, it will be bolivia in shortfall and China the one owned money.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi says the new loan agreement with Bolivia shouldn't be looked upon as political.
It's what I would do.
