Product Viability

Mr. Spiers. A product does exist. Redesign that product 20% makes the
product new. It means I am now competing on design not price. Redesign this
same product to a customers own personal specifications and applications.
Does redesigning this same product to suit a customers own personal
specification and application means one is competing on design and not
price? Is it viable to start searching for customers overseas who want this
product manufactured to their personal details and usage? Built the same
product differently according to each individual order. Please excuse me for
being a little naive concerning this matter.
