RE: [spiers] Reps and Nordstroms
Mary -
Nordstrom's corporate base is Seattle, WA. And you're right, their
children's buyers are geographically positioned within a Nordstrom
stores district rather than in a single location at corporate or in a
buying office in New York. The buyers are easily identified. Your reps
should be able to dial them directly and meet with them in the stores. I
hope this is helpful.

Subject: [spiers] Reps and Nordstroms
Hi John & e-group,
Happy Holidays!!
Question-- I have a new baby clothing line, and have reps/showrooms in
most
of the major markets... my Northeast and Southeast reps both want West
Virginia
b/c that is where Nordstroms Corp is based... my question is doesn't
Nordstroms have geographical children's buyers so why does matter? How
does this work
since there are so many stores and with reps in specific
states/territories? I
don't have a Nordstrom's order, so it's kind of silly. Please advise.
Thanks!! Mary Morrison
