FESCO Moving on Up

These are big increases for the Russian Far East Trade...
In 2014, export-import sea container transportation of FESCO Transportation Group climbed by 16.6% YoY to 428,137 TEU due to growing trade flows between Russia and Asian countries, the Group says in its press release.
So much for our embargoes on Russia for our destabilization of the Ukraine.

Feel free to forward this by email to three of your friends.

What if I want to export US food products to Russia? Can Russians place orders with us in the U.S.? What about importing products from Russia into the U.S.?

Also, what about exporting to a country like Iran?

Can buyers from these countries just order from us in the U.S. using our online moq fob order page?

Are there ways around embargoes that won't get us into trouble?

Well, I think you would have to ask from the customers point of view. What if Russians wanted to import your product? Or Iran, or any other country? From USA.

You are selling FOB, which means getting it out of here and to there is the buyers, the importer's problem. As a aprt of the actual sale, the FF will cut and export license, or not, if the goods are not allowed. End of story in that case.

If there is an embargo, necessarily "getting around it" means trouble, by definition.

And back to Russia, Russia is the one, in response to the sanctions put on Russia because USA destabilized the Ukraine, it's Russia that has embargoed many USA products. It's a smart move as it will allow Russians to develop domestic supply and end USA sales to Russian in those categories over time.

Russia is making the right moves given the provocations, and thank God for Putin's steady hand as USA hegemonic activities spin out of control.
