RE: [spiers] Re: reps vs. distributors & PayPal
Be careful to read the fine print when working with PayPal. The seller
protection guarantee is only valid for buyers who have been "verified". I
learned this the hard way, by taking credit card payment from an unverified
buyer. The buyer refused the credit card charge after I shipped the goods.
After many calls to the buyer and the nice, but unhelpful, customer service
reps at PayPal, I ultimately ate the loss. Better to spend my time on good
customers than bad debts.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. I have some experience
working on press releases for other projects I've been involved with.
I also have a small list of design and industry related web sites
that I'll be sending samples to. And I'm building a small web site
with online ordering. Paypal makes online transactions very easy with
no up front investments.
The next month should be very interesting as I roll out some
marketing and PR... though the returns on that work may take a whole
longer.
