A 101 Point Escape To Anarchy Plan

I took this to be a list of what freedom loving people can do, and do anyway, on their way to getting us out of the mess we are in. Taking these steps would result in withdrawing our consent to be governed, and looks pretty much what the peace-loving Amish would advise.

The false premise here is there is no better provider for these items than government. And if we did not pay government to do it, it would not happen, when in fact it would happen, only better and cheaper and faster with more options.

If you’re a conservative who hates taxes, please do the following.
1. Do not use Medicare.
***Yes, be like the Amish, and get exempt from paying in or taking out of this dreadful system.***
2. Do not use Social Security
***Again, learn from the Amish!***
3. Do not become a member of the US military, who are paid with tax dollars.
***I agree, pursue conscientious objector status.***
4. Do not ask the National Guard to help you after a disaster.
***You mean like Katrina? I'll trust merchants and the REd Cross, thank you.***
5. Do not call 911 when you get hurt.
***Yes, it is safer that way. Rely on your friends when hurt. In this way, you'll be careful as to with whom you make friends.***
6. Do not call the police to stop intruders in your home.

***Wait a minute... what do tax dollars have to do with firefighting? 70% of the USA fire fighters are volunteers. Are you suggesting we need govt for fire fighting? How absurd! This is another example when generous people do well and govt takes the credit.***
8. Do not drive on any paved road, highway, and interstate or drive on any bridge.
***How come we allow government to monopolize this infrastructure? Again, most infrastructure, roads and bridges are in private hands, and all of it is privately constructed. The govt monopoly on the main roads has blocked out new transports methods like mg lev, which would eliminate car crashes, state patrols and oil dependency. Govt gets us stuck in the past.***
9. Do not use public restrooms.
10. Do not send your kids to public schools.
***I agree, homeschooling is the normal way a kid is educated, but if there is a problem in your family so you cannot homeschool, send your kids to private schools.***
11. Do not put your trash out for city garbage collectors.
***Sigh, again, they are private collectors under city monopoly contracts, and it is big biz for the mob. Let's disintermediate the govt participation. I find I get a better deal working directly with the mob than with the govt. Which is just another mob.***
12. Do not live in areas with clean air.
***Fouled air is a result of govt abrogation of property rights. If Big govt did not give big biz a pass on proerty rights, out air would be clean. Govt is the villain when the air is dirty. Read Horwitz on this.

13. Do not drink clean water.
***See above, substitute water for air...***
14. Do not visit National Parks.
***The national park system was a genteel way to advance the extermination of the indians in USA and seize their lands. Those lands need to be returned, right is right. Then we can ask the indians before we visit their country.***
15. Do not visit public museums, zoos, and monuments.
***Right, I prefer the private museums, better collections, and no charge. But good restaurants. Like the Frye in Seattle***
16. Do not eat or use FDA inspected food and medicines.
*** I much prefer such uninspected foods. First almost nothing gets inspected. 2nd, what they inspect I would not eat. Third, most of what I like is actually illegal. Fourth, the regulated always capture the regulators. Big food and drug own the FDA, and the FDA is only a thug front for the big food and drug.***
17. Do not bring your kids to public playgrounds.
***Good advice, these are often dangerous places. Much better to join a beach club, or some such and avoid the parks altogether. Indeed, start such a club.***
18. Do not walk or run on sidewalks.
***Weird advice, but again, like roads, how come govt is involved in sidewalks, what do they bring to the table?***
19. Do not use public recreational facilities such as basketball and tennis courts.
***Yes, join private clubs if you like such activities, do not make other pay taxes so they can support your habits... pay your own way.***
20. Do not seek shelter facilities or food in soup kitchens when you are homeless and hungry.
***Yes, those are miserable places. Make good friends, be tight with your family. Have your kin to fall back on when you are busted.***
21. Do not apply for educational or job training assistance when you lose your job.
***Yes, it would be a complete waste of time. Much better to start your own business if you lose your job.***
22. Do not apply for food stamps when you can’t feed your children.
***A welfare fraud investigator said it is impossible to go on welfare without committing fraud. How come? It is just not enough money. If it came to pass you have no relatives and hungry kids, get to a church. Yes they get their money from the govt, and that is terrible. But places where welfare is near nonexistent, like Hong Kong, private giving exceeds demand.***
23. Do not use the judiciary system for any reason.

***Yes, it is a inherently flawed system. We can eliminate it completely with no adverse effect. Private law and dispute resolution can more than adequately replace our system.
24. Do not ask for an attorney when you are arrested and do not ask for one to be assigned to you by the court.
***I've always found pro se a better way to go.***
25. Do not apply for any Pell Grants.
***Yes, they are tied to military conscription, and they cannot be bankrupted after you graduate and learn that there is no employment for one with your computer or accounting or law degree.***
26. Do not use cures that were discovered by labs using federal dollars.
***As if we would not have more better cheaper faster cures without federal dollars.***
27. Do not fly on federally regulated airplanes.
***The airlines should be responsible for airline safety. Regulators are always captured by the regulated. Presently, in the event of a crash, it is a disaster we all pay for. if there was no feds, each crash would wreck an airline. Safety would improve.***
28. Do not use any product that can trace its development back to NASA.
***Trillions in development costs and we get teflon and EVA foam? Private industry would have invented more better cheaper faster than anything nasa put out. Recall private companies beat the fed programs to map the human genome.***
29. Do not watch the weather provided by the National Weather Service.
***As if a private company could not out-hustle the national weather service. Wait wait, they do...***
30. Do not listen to severe weather warnings from the National Weather Service.
***I trust my grma's elbow's more than the weather service.***
31. Do not listen to tsunami, hurricane, or earthquake alert systems.
***Because you are dead by then. And do not trust their after-disaster advice.***
32. Do not apply for federal housing.
*** I agree completely. Why are they in that business?***
33. Do not use the internet, which was developed by the military.
***Because the phone company had a monopoly on telecommuncations. As soon as the monopoly was lifted, private enterprise introduced the internet, something we could have had about 1934, if we did not become a socialist country at that time. Military did not invent anything, nor did Al Gore. Private companies did it all.***
34. Do not swim in clean rivers.
***See Morton Horwitz above, how govt gave big biz a pass on pollution.***
35. Do not allow your child to eat school lunches or breakfasts.
***Yes, I see my kids are well nourished.***
36. Do not ask for FEMA assistance when everything you own gets wiped out by disaster.
***Count on it. I will avoid them if I can.***
37. Do not ask the military to defend your life and home in the event of a foreign invasion.
***We did, and they declined. See 9-11. their antics in the middle east have made us less secure.***
38. Do not use your cell phone or home telephone.
***Why, that can exist without govt, and does better the less govt involved.***
39. Do not buy firearms that wouldn’t have been developed without the support of the US Government and military. That includes most of them.
*** Hmmm... by all accounts foreign weapons are better than USA weapons, except for USA weapons made especially for private self defense and hunting. When USA soldiers can have any weapon they want, they buy foreign.***
40. Do not eat USDA inspected produce and meat.
***Well, first, almost nothing gets inspected, second, it's the cook, not the USDA that keeps you safe. Eliminate the USDA and there would be no adverse reaction.***
41. Do not apply for government grants to start your own business.
***I agree... the failure rate of those who get govt assistance far exceed those who do not.***
42. Do not apply to win a government contract.
***Agreed, you'll only be hurting some innocent party.***
43. Do not buy any vehicle that has been inspected by government safety agencies.
*** See food and drugs above. My mechanic inspects my car. Who else would I trust? Why do we demand others pay to "inspect" our cars?***
44. Do not buy any product that is protected from poisons, toxins, etc…by the Consumer Protection Agency.

45. Do not save your money in a bank that is FDIC insured.

46. Do not use Veterans benefits or military health care.
***Since I am a conscientious objector, this is a safe bet.***
47. Do not use the G.I. Bill to go to college.
*** A disaster for education in USA. We harmed education and lost manufacturing and innovation by caonditioning people to be cogs in a wheel.***
48. Do not apply for unemployment benefits.
***Self-employed, I can't get it anyway.***
49. Do not use any electricity from companies regulated by the Department of Energy.
***Dept of energy has been around since the late 70s... was there no energy before then?***
50. Do not live in homes that are built to code.
***Code is industry developed, and then insurance company enforced. Govt involvement is a sheer waste of time and money.***
51. Do not run for public office. Politicians are paid with taxpayer dollars.

52. Do not ask for help from the FBI, S.W.A.T, the bomb squad, Homeland Security, State troopers, etc…

***Private records are vastly more interesting anyway...***

58. Do not use airports that are secured by the federal government.
***Here again, the monopoly problem. Get rid of the monopoly, and govt -free airports will win the competition.***
59. Do not apply for loans from any bank that is FDIC insured.

***They main job is free market interdiction, but you are more likely to be saved by another private vessel than the Cost Guard anyway. And the rest of the world uses private volunteer rescuers, like 670% of our firefighters.***

***Why does an idea, a federal govt, own anything?***
78. Do not work anywhere that has a safe workplace because of government regulations.
***SAfety comes from management not govt. Let insurance companies police their risks.***
79. Do not use public transportation.
80. Do not drink water from public water fountains.

81. Do not whine when someone copies your work and sells it as their own. Government enforces copyright laws.

***Yes, ride ones inspected by insurance companies that have to pay f you are injured or killed. Govt inspectors have no skin in the game. if you die so what?***
90. Do not use any resource that was discovered by the USGS.
***Best finds are privately discovered anyway.***
91. Do not ask for energy assistance from the government.
***OK...**
92. Do not move to any other developed nation, because the taxes are much higher.
***Like the UK or Norway?***
93. Do not go to a beach that is kept clean by the state.
***Because it is not very clean... go to private clubs where the beach is spotless.***
94. Do not use money printed by the US Treasury.
***Again.. monopoly problem, plus, they will imprison if you transact not using their money.***
95. Do not complain when millions more illegal immigrants cross the border because there are no more border patrol agents.

***Their best teachers are the independent contractors that teach without tenure.***
97. Do not see any doctor that is licensed through the state.
***As a matter of fact, my doctor lost his license, because he was telling people the truth. So, I agree and act on this. But there is also the monopoly problem again anyway. he told women to stay away form hormone replacement therapy, and men from prostrate treatment. We all have cancer, and we all die, but very few from cancer. Often the best advice is leave it alone, improve diet and exercise. You will lose your license if you tell the truth.***
98. Do not use any water from municipal water systems.
***this is a repeat, but monopoly...***
99. Do not complain when diseases and viruses, that were once fought around the globe by the US government and CDC, reach your house.
***Disease spreads from war. USA is the #1 war maker in the world. We are full of countless diseases kept in check by good immune systems.
we protect against maybe 12 diseases of the trillions possible. If war breaks out, and our immune systems are compromised, we may not die of one disease we prepared for, but the other one we did not prepare for will get us. if you want to control disease, control the US govt and its military adventures.***
100. Do not work for any company that is required to pay its workers a livable wage, provide them sick days, vacation days, and benefits.
***Since minimum wage laws were introduced, black unemployment shot up, because there is no entry level work. It is all a part of the liberal genocide agenda. Private industry, before they coopted govt, introduced better wages and bennies as a competitive move. Govt had nothing to do with it. Most companies people want to work for offer wages and bennies superior to govt regs.***
101. Do not expect to be able to vote on election days. Government provides voting booths, election day officials, and voting machines which are paid for with taxes.

102. Do not ride trains. The railroad was built with government financial assistance.
***Which is why it is moribund today. if it had been private enterprise, we'd be using mag lev today, more better cheaper faster.***

The fact is, we pay for the lifestyle we expect. Without taxes, our lifestyles would be totally different and much harder.

***And better, more better cheaper faster... so the point of taxes is to get other people to do the hard stuff you should do for yourself.***

America would be a third world country. The less we pay, the less we get in return. Americans pay less taxes today since 1958 and is ranked 32nd out of 34 of the top tax paying countries.

***How come Hong Kong has lower taxes and beats USA on every metric?***

Chile and Mexico are 33rd and 34th.

***On balance, we are about with them...***

The Republicans are lying when they say that we pay the highest taxes in the world and are only attacking taxes to reward corporations and the wealthy and to weaken our infrastructure and way of life.

So next time you object to paying taxes or fight to abolish taxes for corporations and the wealthy, keep this quote in mind…

Holmes is also famous for leading, 8-1 on the Supreme Court, to introduce eugenics into the US legal system...

These hateful laws were overturned in 1974, about the same time the Tuskegee Experiments were ended. AS you watch the election cycle, know that all violence resides in political parties, it is the fountainhead. The democrats are about genocide at home, and the republican are about genocide overseas. Prove me wrong.


Merchantability

The team that made lousy Impala cars is still managing GM. GM will not take responsibility for problems that were typical of the pre-bankruptcy GM. If you are big enough, you can get a bailout, bankrupt your company, stay as management at the same pay, and take no responsbility for your past poor performance.

Ther should have been no bailout of GM. It should have failed, and then maybe 1000 of the tens of thousands people who lost their jobs would have started car companies. Maybe 500 would be in business now, 2 years later. and maybe in 5 years there would be 100 of them thriving, hiring, a renaissance. We have nothing better now.

In socialism, not one could account for costs, and so it failed. In capitalism, no one can account for responsibility, so it is failing.

So Get Self Employed

A friend of mine asked me last year what I would do in his case: He inherited about $100,000 in BofA stock at $24 a share, and then, a year ago it was about $12, so it was down to 1/2. I said sell it and put the money into gold. He did not. Now BofA is about $6, so he's lost 1/2 again, or 3/4s total. Had he sold the $50k BofA and bought gold, he today would have %75,000 worth in gold, instead of $25,000 in BofA. I bet BofA continues down and gold continues up. But who cares... what to do next?

Intellectual Property Wrongs Judo Flip

Here is a neat trick, inadvertently suggested in an article......

So, if someone has a name they "own" and they cause you grief, make it to your advantage... title your book by the name they "own" and everytime they promote or advertise, your book sells better.

The Black Guy Did It

The Economist magazine is the western world's party line for all opinions.  A strange magazine, no articles are signed.  No idea who writes it.  Now it has gotten around to blessing the opinion:  the black guy did it, and they have a picture just to make sure...

Again never mind Obama and his administration has embraced and extended Bush policies, and only Bush policies.  It is all Obama's fault.

Blaming minorities is a classic USA activity, the Boston Tea Party participants dressed up like Mohicans.  Indians did it.

Google results:

Blame Bush (8 years in office, plus his dad's 4 = 12 years) = 3.7 million hits

Blame Obama (less than 4 years in office) = 54 million hits

In fairness, Bush elder would have few internet stories, and Bush younger stories are dropping off the web.  But the Democratic machine does still blame bush to this day, incoherently since Obama policies are Bush policies, so the Bush number is still being fed.  Bush never got this much negative press when he was president, as bad as he was.

Of course, Obama is President of 1/3 of the federal government, chief officer in the executive branch, and he really has not much to do with anything beyond that.  Regulators are captured by the regulated, so big biz ultimately calls the shots.  The problem is not Obama, it is the American people, or our system, or both.

The problem is decency.  We need to exercise some decency.  Decency is in relation to standards, so maybe first we need to raise our standards.


Solid Economic Revival Prescription

If you want to see pretty quick full employment, and economic recovery, simply deregulate something, anything.  A good candidate may be products, like medicine, or services, like education.

Just announce the government is getting out, no subsidies nor restrictions, and then people in the USA will organize around the wide open opportunity.  Sure, there is risk of snake oil salesmen, but one of the new businesses will be qualifying drugs, and the FDA and DEA people, fired from the govt, will get real jobs in the industry.

New factories, new products, new services, and new cures.  Results would happen real quick...  The telephone was deregulated in 1980, and see what happened, computers, internet, WWW and Apple.

Govt budget would drop, private enterprise would widen.  Full recovery would follow.  Deregulate something, anything...

When wars get really nasty, enemies bomb dams and other great public works to make huge problems.  Given what has happened at Fukushima, and given how easily the 9-11 WTC attacks brought down those buildings, why would a USA enemy attack our huge nuclear power plants?  Fox News says "don't worry, we spent a few billion on barriers."  That makes me worry.  We are safe from airplanes crashing into them, people think.

But what about war?  If a big wave can destroy Fukushima, what about an big enemy bomb?  Would it not be better to decentralize nuke power?  Sure enough, we seem to be able to make small, very much safer nuke plants.

The money for big nukes and GE starves out innovation by small companies. USA government policy has been "get big or get out" for 150 years.  We need to change that. No more subsidies for General Electric, General Foods and General Motors.  We need to get to free markets, and "get big as you can on your own."


China Goods Are Less Than 3% of USA Spending

Mish schools everyone on how to analyze trade data.  What we already know is something marked made in China, most of the price relates to USA add-on costs.  But that in total, of everything that comes from China, it is only 3% of USA spending.

People calling for trade wars with China "to save American jobs" won't get much if they get their way.  At best, we can see that 3% made here.  What we would lose, is our exports to China.

If USA was a free market, what we would see is exports rise, as the pie got bigger, as the innovators and conservators did their thing extending the division of labor.

Billion Dollar Business

Entrepreneurs see things everyone else does, but more for what they are, and ask the question, "how come?"  Then they work out an answer, then further come up with a solution.

In most cultures the merchant is looked down upon, precisely because the merchant upsets the powers that be.  The powers that be desire to dominate the underlings, and the merchant proposes to enable, promote, empower, satisfy the individual.

In the East where castes are specifically delineated, such as India and China/Japan, the merchant is 2nd from the bottom and very bottom, respectively.  In the West, it is only in USA where the merchant is given some respect, indeed, part of our culture is the applause for the self-made man.  The brits call merchant who made it to the top a "bounder" and the french "nouveau riche," both derogatory terms.  But USA does have a a group of people who think in terms of "class" and they tend towards the halls of power, and they use tax money to hire minions.  Those minions write the rules the rest of us live under.  We may have a classless society, but those in power do not think so.  One of the capitalist class's best kept secrets is they operate as a class.

Anyway, here is the hard observation.  I listened as a young person say, in relation to finding a house in a certain neighborhood, "I cannot wait for all those old people to die." I am sure it was just thoughtless hyperbole,  but in a culture where Oregon and Washington allow "physician assisted suicide", a contradiction in terms, this urge might be lethal.  Physicians have killed off hard cases throughout history, and society has given them a pass, never look too closely when a physician says why someone died. People look to physicians for solutions.

But right now in USA it is about a bankrupt government, so...

"Oregon’s and Washington’s assisted-suicide laws defines “terminal” as a condition which will “within reasonable medical judgment, produce death within six months.”(14) A prognosis of six month to live is also the basis upon which patients qualify for hospice coverage under Medicare.(15)"


The last six months of just about anyone's life is the most expensive, whether an elderly person dying of complications of disease, or an 18 year old motorcycle accident patient who does not make it. Well, if we can get someone whacked for about $100 by physician assisted suicide, that saves an easy $30,000 of eldercare to the state, not to mention the heirs get their cash faster.  Wait wait, there is more... if the estate is considerable, the state gets death tax. Consider it a tip for services rendered.

Although physicians generally will not perform the disgusting deed of assisted suicide at this new wholesale level themselves, yet, they offer no resistance to their political masters, who control their income.  When the politicians decide the definition of medicine, that definition attracts a certain set.  That set is not inclined to rock the boat they depend on.  Never mind "suffering" is just bad palliative care, and never mind what suffering there is has purpose and meaning in humans.

A lawyer has noted the rules promised to avoid children killing off their parents, for the inheritance, are not being observed.  Of course not.  Who did not see that coming?

The elders to be exterminated certainly have it coming, by voting and acquiescing to every war, welfare program and other detriment to peace and prosperity. Our present economic disasters are the fruits of their labors.  What goes around comes around.  But just because they have it coming does not mean we ought to deliver it.  Especially when there is a buck to be made defending their lives.  Allah favors the compassionate!

So how?  There are lonely hearts matchmaking services on the internet which match catholics with catholics,  jews with jews and the hopeless old men with foreign girls.  It is clearly crazy to own property right now. The vast majority of wealth in USA is in the hands of women, because they live much longer than their spouses.  Very many of them live in their own homes free and clear.

Who knows, but to some extent these elders have children who are unable, unwilling to support themselves.  Some of these children desire the death of their parents (usually mom) so they can inherit that wealth.  This is the kind of thinking from which most people shrink, but this is where the money is, in the measure it is true, it is profitable.

Intergenerational access makes elder lives better and longer.  Nursing homes foreshorten the lives of elders, and deny us the good of their companionship.

So create a dotcom that matches young, worthy busted families with an elder who owns her (most likely "her") home.   The young family moves into the house, and "Gma" continues to live there as well.  Everyone takes care of Gma.  The young family might even pay some rent.  In this way the young family can get on its feet, and Gma thrives better longer.  And instead of people driving through the neighborhood wishing g'ma dies so they can get the house, young families move in and help g'ma's live long and fruitful lives.

Now, a contract is written that in no way this residing family may be a beneficiary of the Gma's will.  Heck sake, they'll be bumping her off! And if the kids of Gma are heirs, that does not change.  So what we have is a natural tension in which the residing family wants Gma to live as long and well as possible, and the inheritors just have to wait until Gma dies a natural death before they get their inheritance.  Sometimes we need ways to keep honest people honest.

Of course a doctor will determine when gma must be hospitalized, or is in danger, and maybe a weekly nurse visit keeping tabs is part of the contract.  But most likely, gma dies with a grin on her face.

Of course there can be mischief in this system too, but where ever we are heading with this brave new world, we'd knock out 90% of the opportunity for mischief.

Anyway, that would be for someone with a passion to work out.  Someone should write up a plan, and then fly to eHarmony headquarters, and sit in the lobby until someone talked to me about a joint venture on this project.  10% of a billion is much more than 100% of nothing.
